        The U.S. Navcommsta Londonderry Alumni Association offers for sale the following items. Profits from the sale of these items are used to help defray the costs of running the Association. 

        Please Note: The Alumni Association is a non-profit organization;  No officer of the Alumni Association's Board of Directors receives monetary compensation for their work.

ITEM 1: U.S. NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry Patch 

     Since the formation of the NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry Alumni Association, many members have expressed an interest in obtaining a NCS Londonderry patch similar to the one shown on the top of the Alumni Association's Website.  To mark our 2nd Anniversary in 2002, the Alumni Association made these colorfully embroidered, 3" x 3" round patches available to members.

    Our Web Site logo, which was the base patch from the mid-1970's, features golden "lightning bolts"  taken from the Radioman Rating Insignia. The patch also features the base Morse Code call sign, " N S T "  which was used for ship-to-shore CW communications.  All of you non-RM types, say along with me: "dah dit, dit dit dit, dah"

ITEM 2: U.S. NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry Historical Data Base 

    Since its formation, the Alumni Association has been accumulating and storing member donated historical photos and memorabilia from members tours of duty with the U.S. Navy in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, during the years a U.S. Navy Base was in operation there, 1942 through 1977.  

    We can now make portions of our extensive U.S. Navcommsta Londonderry Alumni Association Historical Data Base collection of these historical documents available for purchase.  Available on CD only. 

(A): USNLAA Historical Data Base CD #1: 

Contains copies of U.S. Navy Base newsletters issued during the years the base was in operation, 1942 through 1977, including copies of Naval Operating Base (NOB) Londonderry Newsletters from the World War II era, and Navcommsta Londonderry (NCS) "MODULATOR" Newsletters from the mid 1960's through 1977, as well as copies of our own Alumni Association Newsletters.  Available on CD only.  To view the contents of CD#1, click on: View Contents

(B): USNLAA Historical Data Base CD #2: 

Contains Photos and Memorabilia submitted by members for inclusion in the U.S. Navcommsta Londonderry Alumni Association Historical Database.  Historical documents for the years 1942 through 1977 are included on this CD.

ITEM 3: A Video Tape of the 2001 U.S. NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry Reunion, Virginia Beach,  VA.
                                 (Sorry, Not Currently Available)

   A grand time was had by all at the July 6-8, 2001, Virginia Beach Reunion, with over 200 people attending the three-day festivities, and you can now own your very own video tape of this Virginia Beach Reunion. 

   Even if you were not able to attend this grand event, you can experience the joy of those who attended, and have fun picking out the faces of those you might know.  Available on VHS tape only.  For sale to  USNLAA  Members  ONLY.

ITEM 4: U.S. NAVCOMMSTA Londonderry Lapel Pin

   This colorful 1" diameter Lapel pin (with clasp), features our Alumni Association logo, which was the base patch from the mid-1970's, featuring golden "lightning bolts"  taken from the Radioman Rating Insignia. The pin logo also includes the base Morse Code call sign, " N S T "  which was used for ship-to-shore CW communications. This pin is designed exactly the same as Item 1, our Patch.
