John M. Musser, 63, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, in his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1945, in Rotan, Texas, the son of Roy and Joyce (Whitefield) Musser. On Dec. 27, 1981, in Cassville, he was united in marriage to Connie Jackson, who survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, Michael and Jake Musser; a daughter, P.J. Musser; one brother, David Musser; one sister, Susie Thomas; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Roy Musser; and a brother, Dean Musser.

He served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed in Vietnam. After his retirement from the Navy, he moved to Cassville from San Diego, Calif., and worked as a marine mechanic. He was a member of All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle, Rock.

His body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday in All Faith United Methodist Church, Eagle Rock.
