With, Josephine D. "Josie" WATERVLIET Josie D. With, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany with her children at her side. Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of James Hamilton and Doris Wray Hamilton. She was raised and educated in Derry and met her late husband Julian while he was serving with the US Navy in Ireland. They were married in 1969 in Derry and later traveled the world living in Greece and Virginia while he served in the Navy. They moved to Albany in 1977 and then to Watervliet in 1984. Josie was a loving mother dedicated to raising her six children. She was a great cook and always welcomed her children's friends into her home and loved them as if they were her own. Josie was the dearly beloved wife of the late Julian F. With Jr., who died in 1989; devoted mother of Victoria A. (Travis) With-Homer of Lafayette, N.Y., Aaron J. (Melinda) With of Averill Park, Larissa S. (Brea-Anne) With of Troy, Rebecka With of Watervliet and the late Sgt. Julian F. With III, who died February 22, 2013, and Elizabeth M. With, who died December 19, 2001. Josie was the loving grandmother of Devin, Gage and Rayn Nigro, Izabella, Elizabeth, Gabriella With, Cash and Presley Homer, and Alexis Sheridan; great-grandmother to Xander With. Josie is also survived by her siblings/in-laws, and many nieces and nephews in Northern Ireland and the United States. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Watervliet. Josie will be laid to rest with her late husband Julian, the love of her life at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
