Obituary Margaret Theresa "Terri" Sterling, 70, of Blountsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Ireland on April 26, 1948 to the late James and Sarah Theresa McGilloway Clarke. She was a devoted member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Oneonta; a devoted military wife of 30 years. Terri is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell David Sterling; parents, James and Sarah Clarke; sister, Jeannette Pallett. She leaves to cherish her memory by her children, David (Christen) Sterling and Erin Dingler (Donnie) Colbert); grandchildren, Tyler (Taylor) Dupree, Emma and Lucy Sterling, David and Ciara Dingler; great grandchildren, Brenton and Tanner Dupree, plus one on the way; siblings, Kevin (Vonnie) Clarke, Alex (Bev) Clarke, Damien (Peggy) Clarke, Celine O'Neill, Pauline Campbell, Anna (Alwyn) Mullan, Geraldine Mullan and Helen (Pete) Gordan; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Father Jim Hedderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Blountsville. Mrs. Sterling will lie in state at Blountsville Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will lie in state at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of mass. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Dupree, Heath Bailey, effrey Bailey, Gary Godfrey, Donnie Colbert and James Dixon. Blountsville Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sterling Family.
