CANNING WILLIAM Died 2nd October, 2011
Willie's wife Anna, his daughters Bernadette and Margaret, son Thomas, grandchildren,
great-grandson and family circle would like to express our heartfelt thanks
to all who supported and sympathised with us on the loss of our loving father.
We would like to thank all those who called at 30, Dungiven Road, sent Mass
cards, letters, floral tributes, gifts of food and to all who attended Willie's
funeral. Thanks to medical and nursing staff at Altnagelvin Hospital, Riverfront
Medical Practice and carers who cared for Willie throughout recent illnesses.
To all the priests who visited our home, special thanks to Fr. C. Ferguson,
Fr. McCanny, Fr. R. Colhoun and Deacon James Devine for helping to make the
Requiem Mass such a special and personal event. Our thanks also to W.J. O'Brien
& Son for the dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements. As
it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement
will be accepted by all as a token of our deep and sincere appreciation.
Willie's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Columb's Church, Waterside on Wednesday, 2nd November at 7.30 p.m.
